Part of a 4 person User Experience and Research team responsible for the complete design cycle of product design and enhancement of the User Experience.

Haptic Interaction Design – Samsung Touch phone

Responsible for the complete ideation and design of the haptic user interaction, using vibro-tactile feedback on the Samsung Touch phone. The phone contains a stock actuator and the experience created was approved by Samsung to ship along with product release (Sales of 1.7 million phones with the designed interaction).

Vibration Theme Design – NEC Manta Tablet

Responsible for the complete ideation and design of the haptic user interaction, using vibro-tactile feedback on the NEC Manta Tablet. The tablet contains a HD actuator and the experience created was mentioned as the best experience created on by the vibration feedback till date on a HD actuator driven device.

Haptic Design and Other projects

Participated and created themes and haptic metaphors within the UI interactions of various phones (confidential) with a stock actuator to enhance the interactivity and the user experience. Participated and led many design projects and supported the Software and Engineering teams with the necessary design input along the process till the product release.

Inventions and Patents

Submitted ideas for specific inventions directed towards interactions using vibro-tactile and touch feedback out of which, (confidential) have been approved and are in the pipeline of being confirmed patents.
